Midel group staff had a two day training workshop on capacity building, the workshop was aimed on how employees could learn the habits for peak productivity: The training was Facilitated by Be Better consulting, The focus was on Business Ethics and Attitude for service, Time Management, Personal saving and growing Midel Customer base
On the 26th of November 2016, the village weavers team attended two events; British fayre at the British village and Berger Christmas Bazaar at Berger. We are happy to say both events turned out to be very successful as we made a lot of sales!. We can’t wait to attend both event again next year!!
On Saturday, 12th November, the village weavers team attended the American International school fall Bazaar We had a lot of people come to our stand to buy the beautiful rugs We also gave out our fliers and information of our different sales outlets to customers and visitors
November is our Greendel Month where we enlighten our residents at the midel center and clients on the benefits of recycling and energy conservation The Greendel corner was put up showing all the winners for our greendel office of the month who were able to recycle their waste adequately and manage their energy use
The Midel corporate social responsibility team paid the women of the village weavers network its monthly visit to let them know of the sales made from mats, give them money from mats sold and distribute pieces of fabrics which will help them in making more beautiful mats for our up and coming events
The village weavers Network attended the Inside-Track Bazaar on the 8th of October. Our stand attracted a lot of customers. It was a successful day as we made a lot of sales!!. We look forward to the next event.
