Educated with a BSc (hons) degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of Benin, Gigi Adoghe began her career at the Bureau of Public Enterprise Nigeria in the year 2000.
Gigi Adoghe’s passion for continuous learning in entrepreneural and business management has led her to pursue several courses at the London school of Economics, The Center for Strategy and Communication London and The London school of Marketing.
Obtaining a Certificate from the British Institute of Facilities Management, she founded Midel Management Ltd in 2008 where she worked as the Managing director till 2012.
On completion of her certificate in Entrepreneurial Management from the Pan-Atlantic University in 2012, she expanded and diversified Midel Management Ltd into Midel Group which has under its umbrella, Midel Management Ltd ( a Facilities and Property management organisation), The Midel Center (a professional business community which resides a myriad of small and medium size organizations) and Midel Media ( an online business broadcasting forum and bulletin) where she currently holds the position of CEO.
Gigi is an advocate of women empowerment. She is a member of the board and supports the Village Weavers’ Network, a non profit organisation which educates and gives technical support to the local less privileged women of Abuja Nigeria. The NGO teaches the women how to weave mats for sale. The women use the profits from the sales to support their families.
Gigi Adoghe also champions the GreenDel program, an environmentally friendly awareness campaign aimed at the corporate sector of Abuja.
She was awarded the African Female Leadership Impact Award and was inducted into the Global Women Leadership Hall of Fame in Nov 2014.
